Airfreight Director of Operations & Procurement, Americas

Airfreight Director of Operations & Procurement, Americas responsible for executing Hellmann's global carrier strategy, optimizing carrier performance, and ensuring cost-effective procurement. Leads operational integrity across the Airfreight Americas network, oversees local procurement with preferred/non-preferred carriers, manages the carrier program, and drives cost optimization while maintaining high service quality. Defines and maintains a carrier scorecard, conducts monthly/quarterly reviews with partners, and ensures regulatory compliance (ICAO, TAPA, HSSE). Partners with HR on leadership and succession, negotiates local agreements, and spearheads KPI-based performance improvements, SOP development, and cross-functional initiatives including CSP exercises and IT/digital enhancements. Requires strong leadership, international experience, project management, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.
