Job Summary
Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, survey, and evaluate metals in aircraft and support systems equipment to meet preservation requirements. Eliminate corrosion deterioration effects, perform corrosion control, and operate aircraft wash racks. Fabricate or repair sheet metal and plastic structural components while applying thorough corrosion control techniques. Requires five years of RSAF AFSC 2437 experience, including one year at the seven level on high-performance fighter aircraft, with mandatory F-15 Airframe Repair Specialist qualification. Required Qualifications
- minimum of five (5) years' experience in RSAF AFSC 24374
- one (1) year at the seven (7) level on high performance fighter aircraft
- Qualification with self-assessment forms an F-15 Airframe Repair Specialist
- experience in performing or supervising such functions as the fabrication or the repair of sheet metal/plastic aircraft structural components
- thorough knowledge of Corrosion Control techniques
