Job Summary
Lead design of helicopter frame structures using CATIA V5 to optimize weight, cost, and performance while ensuring highest safety. Verify detailed designs against validated requirements for sub-systems/components/modules, and develop modifications/retrofits within project timelines as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary design team. Communicate technical subjects effectively to non-specialists; contribute to production support, testing activities, and documentation required for manufacturing and certification/qualification.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Composite and Metallic Helicopter Structure Design
- CATIA V5
- Microsoft Office user
- Configuration management (VPM)
- Change management (ECR/ECP management)
- Knowledge of AH Manufacturing processes
