Job Summary
Conduct aircraft maintenance, run-ups, and road trips to repair aircraft at stations other than the maintenance base. Execute maintenance work records, clean aircraft, and maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition. Comply with 14 CFR, manufacturer specifications, and company policies while assisting with shift turnover reports and participating in briefings. Open and close the facility and conduct on-the-job training as assigned. This safety-sensitive position requires CHRC clearance and DATP enrollment. Candidates must hold a current A&P certificate, meet 14 CFR 65.83 experience requirements, own basic tools, and hold a valid driver's license. Flexible schedule needed for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Current A&P certificate required
- Must meet the recent experience requirements as stated in 14 CFR 65.83
- Must have basic mechanical skills
- Must own basic set of aircraft maintenance tools
- Must hold a valid drivers license
- Must take instruction and guidance well
- Must be goal oriented, have an exceptional attention to detail, and must work well in team situations and also as an individual
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to perform moderately strenuous physical tasks which include bending, stooping, kneeling and working overhead for long periods of time
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays
- 100% in-office role, no remote candidates.
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
- Requires CHRC clearance and DATP enrollment in accordance with the FAA Code of Federal Regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum two years professional aircraft maintenance work experience preferred
