Airfoil Cell Operator- 2nd Shift BAFFLES

Airfoil Cell Operator – Baffles on 2nd Shift, onsite in East Hartford, CT. Perform basic dimensional and visual inspection of production turbine airfoils and other equipment using specified methods; accept or reject material based on findings; transport parts, raw material and fixtures. Follow established inspection procedures, drawings and pertinent instructions to plan and perform dimensional, visual, and water and airflow inspections on turbine airfoils; use standard measuring techniques and inspection equipment to verify part accuracy and apply acceptance/rejection. Conduct in-line checks and verify dimensions; ensure operation sheets are followed; identify when repair or replacement of equipment is needed. Complete logs, quality assurance forms, and other records as required. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1-3 years of related experience (or a post-secondary degree/certificate with 0-1+ years related experience). Priority consideration for INTERNAL candidates per bargaining unit guidelines.
