Job Summary
Inspect production and prototype hardware to prescribed methods and specifications, performing in-process and final inspections of machined parts with cross-training across multiple inspection areas. Adhere to AS9100 and other quality standards, inform supervisors of quality concerns, assist with audits and compliance projects, and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Requires high attention to detail, knowledge of precision measuring equipment (micrometers, dial calipers), ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and effective communication in English. ITAR US Person designation and vision requirements apply.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Must meet ITAR definition of US Person(s)
- Strong math background
- Ability to interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances
- Experience with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, dial calipers)
- Experience in quality inspections and manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Clear English communication (verbal and written)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to perform cross-training in other inspection areas
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions in English
- Vision 20/25 (natural or corrected)
