Job Summary
Conduct daily airfield asphalt placement on runways and taxiways using rollers, pavers, and distributors. Perform asphalt lute and rake finishing while ensuring safe execution during night-time possession periods. Inspect pavement equipment for operational integrity and report defects to Site Management immediately. Maintain safety protocols and manage manual labor tasks including lifting up to 50lbs. Work flexible shifts ranging from 10 to 12 hours, including weekends and nights, while adhering to OSHA 10 standards and security clearance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years minimum experience in airfield asphalt paving operations
- OSHA 10
- Sound knowledge of construction best practices and standards
- Current Valid US State driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work 10 to 12 hours shifts
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to pass security clearance background checks
- Ability to carry out manual labor
- Capability of lifting up to 50lbs
