Airfield Engineering Associate I

Job Summary
Create civil projects for airports throughout the U.S. using AutoCAD to design plans for runways, taxiways, and aprons, including bituminous and concrete pavement design and stormwater infrastructure. Collaborate with senior engineers and occasionally travel to coordinate with airports, airlines, the FAA, and construction management to understand project details. Triple-check all drawings for accuracy before submission within a collaborative team environment. Complete the Engineer-In-Training or Engineering Internship exam within six months of hire. Join RS&H's aviation team to serve airports as a trusted advisor in airfields, environmental planning, and stewardship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Critical thinking skills
- Experience proving ability to work with a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strongly prefer completion of Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineering Internship (EI) exam or intent to complete within six months of hire

- Willingness to dive in and learn different software platforms such as AutoCAD
