Aircrew Scheduler (B-52) Minot

Job Summary

Conduct daily updates of scheduling data to compensate for changing conditions and training completion rates while constructing long-range and short-range schedules for all aircrew, instructor, evaluator, supervisor, and support positions. Rebuild coverage on short notice with the current mission commander or operations supervisor for shifts that are not fully manned, deconflict crewmember schedules around leave and medical appointments, and assign aircrews by experience level to mitigate operational risk. Maintain PEX and locally developed database systems, post unit training event schedules, and report schedule updates to squadron, group, and wing leadership. Obtain aircraft and equipment availability data from maintenance and schedule crewmembers for training, exercises, and operations. Provide the Flying Effectiveness Report, Flying Hour Program Report, and Ready Aircrew Program inputs.

Required Qualifications

  • Active SECRET clearance, or a previously held SECRET clearance that expired and was not revoked
  • U.S. citizen
  • Eligible for access to Restricted Data
  • Work performed at the SECRET level
  • On site at Minot AFB, North Dakota
  • Full time at 1,880 hours per year over 47 weeks
  • Core hours are typically eight hours a day, five days a week
  • Around exercises and holidays the duty day may shift, capped at nine hours, with 48 hours notice of any known change
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working as a squadron aircrew scheduler
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with PEX or a similar proprietary scheduling program
