Aircrew Scheduler (B-1B) Dyess

Determine flight, ground, and simulator schedule requirements for upgrade, initial qualification, requalification, transition, currency, and continuation training based on syllabus, student progression, weather, and daily equipment availability. Correlate sortie length and airspace requirements with syllabus needs, then build long-range and short-range schedules ensuring full coverage of aircrew, instructors, evaluators, supervisors, and support positions. Coordinate with training officers, Aviation Resource Management, the Unit Deployment Manager, and the Operations Officer to arrange schedules per Department of Defense priorities, publish data in PEX, and maintain locally developed database systems. Perform daily updates to reflect changing conditions and training completion rates, track crewmember availability against leave and other commitments, obtain aircraft and equipment data from maintenance, and facilitate last-minute schedule changes with the mission commander or operations supervisor. Attend weekly Special Use Airspace and monthly Range Scheduling meetings for coordination. Produce the Flying Effectiveness Report, Flying Hour Program Report, and Ready Aircrew Program inputs.
