Job Summary
Fabricate, upholster, and install aircraft interior components such as seats, divans, panels, and other soft goods. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders. Cut, measure, and sew various fabrics, leathers, and vinyl materials. Repair, re-cover, and finish seating and soft goods to match OEM and customer requirements. Shape and install foams, coverings, and padding to ensure comfort and aesthetics. Disassemble and reassemble interior components for maintenance or modification. Operate industrial sewing machines, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently. Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with company and FAA standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of upholstery or related experience (aviation upholstery preferred)
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
