Job Summary
Aircraft Technician I needed at Deltahawk Engines to perform maintenance, modifications, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- A&P mechanic License
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working on aircraft or aircraft engines
- Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and related documentation requirements
- Strong 'can do' attitude accompanied with a sense of ambition and urgency
- Ability to follow procedures to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot aircraft systems
- Excellent attention to detail in mechanical assembly and the inspection process during teardowns
- Ability to comprehend technical details effectively in verbal and written form
- Computer literacy including the ability to organize and manage test data
- Ability to lift, hold, and position weights up to 45 lbs at least two to four times per hour as needed
- Ability to work in various positions necessary to service the engine or test equipment as needed
- Overtime and domestic travel may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Sport Pilot license or better
- Composites fabrication and repair experience
