Job Summary
Perform assembly, installation, repair, or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacturing of aircraft. Install electrical harness and sub-assemblies by identifying wire and coax cable, clamping, bundling, mounting, routing, stripping, splicing, soldering, and termination. Use blueprints, sketches, vendor manuals, and test equipment to obtain dimensions, locations, alignment, and tolerances while completing work assignments with standard and specialized tools. Requires minimum four years of avionics experience in aircraft, preferably rotorcraft, and ability to read blueprints and interpret diagrams. Onsite role in Columbus, MS; contract position requiring US citizenship under ITAR definition.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience working on avionics in aircraft, preferably rotorcraft
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English
- US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
- 95% Onsite
- Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice
- Required PPE includes, but not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
- Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits
- Administrative position only
