Job Summary

The Aircraft Systems Engineer Sr will provide engineering support and troubleshooting for all certified Cirrus products, focusing on reliability improvement, manufacturability, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include investigation and testing of aircraft systems, developing test cases, coordinating system integration, generating reports to meet FAA requirements, and supporting field issues. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 5 years of engineering experience, and preferred qualifications in aircraft systems processes, design, and FAA certification expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field (or equivalent) required
  • 5+ years experience engineering experience required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with aircraft systems development processes and requirements traceability
  • Aircraft systems design, integration, installation, testing and certification experience
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft, automotive, or consumer/mechanical systems
  • Experience with data acquisition system development and application
  • FAA certification experience
