Job Summary
Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician role performing removal/install of aircraft components, fabrication/modification of structural parts, and inspection/support duties on CRJ-series aircraft within a large MRO environment. Responsibilities include performing structural repairs on metal components, assisting with hiding damage inspections, wing removal, and various mechanical/electrical removals and installations. Requires interpreting engineering drawings, working with hand tools, and complying with safety policies; shift work including overnights, weekends, and holidays; must obtain SIDA badge if applicable; US work authorization required. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of structural sheet metal repair/modification experience or substantiated similar experience on CRJ aircrafts with Airframe license
- Completed Sheetmetal A/C Tech school or equivalent schooling
- FAA A&P license OR “A” license is required
- Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
- Own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
