Job Summary
Aircraft Structures Assembler responsible for interpreting blueprints, forming sheet metal components, assembling sub-assemblies, inspecting quality, and ensuring adherence to aerospace standards. Duties include using hand/power tools and machinery to cut, shape, and form sheet metal, verifying dimensions with precision measuring instruments, maintaining safety practices, and collaborating with engineers and machinists to integrate parts into larger assemblies. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in manufacturing/aerospace; proficiency with tools and drawings; ability to work legally in Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Any technical or trades qualifications/certificates, or training would be considered an asset
- Ability to complete a criminal background check
- 2+ years of manufacturing, aerospace, warehousing or construction experience is considered an asset
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication machinery
- Ability to interpret and understand drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Must have and maintain the ability to legally work in Canada.
