Job Summary
Sheet Metal Technician needed to perform structural repairs, alterations, and modifications on business jets in a Part 135 MRO environment. Responsibilities include removing/installing skins, doublers, frames, and structural components; fabricating and forming metal parts; reading engineering drawings, SRMs, AMMs; drilling and installing rivets and fasteners; conducting inspections and troubleshooting airframe issues; collaborating with Engineering, QA, and A&P teams; and maintaining FAA/compliance documentation. Requires 3+ years of aluminum/forming/repair on corporate or commercial aircraft, blueprint/SRM interpretation, and ability to work in a fast-paced shop; familiarity with business jet platforms (e.g., Citation, Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon) preferred; eligible to work in the U.S. and pass background/drug screenings.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of sheet metal or structural experience on corporate or commercial aircraft
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, SRM interpretation, and precision layout
- Strong experience with structural tools, fabrication, and repair techniques
- Ability to perform heavy maintenance, modifications, and line-level structural tasks
- Familiarity with business jet platforms preferred (Citation, Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon, etc.)
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
- Eligible to work in the United States
