Job Summary
Screen passengers, baggage, and cargo using approved security procedures while controlling access to secure airport areas and monitoring surveillance systems for suspicious activity. Conduct routine patrols of terminals, gates, and ramp areas, verify identification documents, and respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies. Enforce airport security regulations and complete incident reports with accurate documentation, coordinating with law enforcement as needed. Maintain vigilance while providing customer service and actively participate in the Safety Management System. Requires valid driver's license, ability to stand and lift 40 lbs, and willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay is $20.75 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and obtain required security clearances (e.g., TSA badge)
- Valid driver's license (if required by role)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (as required)
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
