Job Summary
Coordinate all Aircraft on Ground shipments globally, ensuring accurate and timely processing while maintaining maximum customer excellence and precise data integrity. Route freight with commercial airline and heavy cargo providers, track shipments, investigate shipping problems, and verify shipment information. Manage CargoWise workflows, daily trackers, and customer profiles to ensure efficient dissemination of expectations, while partnering with the Accounting team to maintain accurate finances. Proactively communicate freight status to customers and assist in preparing quotes over the phone and via email. Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings to contribute to process improvements and operational assessments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Minimum one year of customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills verbally and written
- White Glove customer service to all customers both internally and externally
- Team player—strong sense of trust and cooperation amongst teammates
- High attention to detail and organization skill
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years' experience in air freight industry preferred
- Cargowise experience a plus!
- Strong understanding of International Air freight a plus!
