Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor

Oversees aircraft maintenance operations, enforces adherence to technical data and management procedures, and leads a mission-focused maintenance effort. Assigns adequate supervisory coverage for each shift and manages the SCR. Ensures accurate daily documentation of maintenance actions and analyzes personnel and equipment performance history using QA reports. Initiates management actions to meet new workloads or correct deficiencies and participates in the maintenance planning cycle. Ensures only qualified personnel accomplish maintenance with the appropriate equipment and tools, adheres to safety directives and applicable safety standards, and establishes procedures to minimize foreign object damage and dropped objects. Maintains MIS entries for PRDs, maintenance actions, and related activities, and coordinates resources to meet production requirements. Advises the production supervisor of conditions that may disrupt the maintenance plan and supports continuous improvement in quality and safety. Requires travel and the ability to obtain/maintain required qualifications/certifications; preferred Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or management.
