Job Summary
Repair, modify, and replace aircraft component structures, including flight control surfaces and specialized parts like brakes and stretchers. Fabricate repair parts using special shop tooling and utilize OEM drawings to modify aircraft structures. Develop repair schemes utilizing SRM or Engineering data, conduct operational tests, and read manufacturer manuals to determine repair feasibility. Communicate work progress to leadership and complete job assignments accurately while clocking time. Requires intermediate knowledge of aircraft systems, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of related commercial/military aircraft maintenance experience
Desired Qualifications
- Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant License preferred
