Job Summary
Part-Time Aircraft Maintenance Instructor role delivering FAA Part 147-aligned curriculum in classroom and active hangar environments. Teach aircraft maintenance systems and procedures, mentor and develop students, maintain attendance/grades records, support curriculum updates, and create a structured, safety-focused learning environment. Requires hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven training setting, and comfort with documenting student progress; evening or weekend availability may be needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate
- Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Background as an A&P Mechanic, Aircraft Mechanic, or AMT
