Job Summary
Performs inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting on KC-46 aircraft, including preflight/postflight inspections, routine and unscheduled maintenance, installation/removal of components, servicing of aircraft and ground support equipment, and accurate documentation of maintenance actions. Requires reading and applying manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints and wiring diagrams; FAA Airframe/Powerplant knowledge preferred; Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required for facility credentials/authorization; minimum four years of aircraft maintenance experience; strong adherence to Technical Orders, SOPs and Air Force Instructions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Four years working knowledge of overall aircraft maintenance operations
- Experience with FAA servicing procedures and aircraft maintenance manuals
- Aircraft maintenance on KC-46 aircraft preferred
- FAA Airframe, Powerplant, or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred
- Must read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring/schematic diagrams
- Must possess a current state-issued driver's license
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship required for facility credentials/authorization
