Job Summary
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, modification, and servicing of aircraft and components according to manufacturer specifications and FARS. Core responsibilities include performing routine scheduled maintenance, interpreting maintenance manuals, modifying systems, assembling and installing components, providing emergency repairs, and reviewing maintenance records. Candidates must possess an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and have strong problem-solving and communication skills. Prior experience in an aircraft maintenance environment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant or equivalent
- Ability to travel
- Ability to climb ladders, sit, stand, crouch, bend for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- One to two years technical college/training or equivalent
- Up to six years or more experience
Additional Requirements
- Open to Ukrainian refugees with an FAA A&P or equivalent license
