Job Summary
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) role involves performing aircraft maintenance using proper tools and techniques and includes responsibilities such as identifying and ordering parts, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates must hold a Transport Canada Accepted Aircraft Maintenance Training course or an Accredited Course, demonstrate the ability to work independently, and possess problem-solving skills. Level 2 Security Clearance with the Canadian Government is required for this position.
Required Qualifications
- Transport Canada Accepted Aircraft Maintenance Training course or an Accredited Course
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge
- Able to problem solve and troubleshoot
- Able to communicate in English and French
- Demonstrates strong and visible support of our values
Desired Qualifications
- Experience on a commercial or military aircraft
- Experience in Line Maintenance in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements
- Position requires Level 2 Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program
