Job Summary
Aircraft Maintenance Technician Team Lead A&P with Special Missions responsibilities. Lead and coordinate maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of aircraft components to ensure proper operation. Oversee technicians performing maintenance and troubleshooting on airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical systems, and control systems; ensure compliance with FAA inspection and documentation requirements; manage work orders, sign-offs, and paperwork; maintain strict quality standards and secure storage of customer property; apply 6S and Lean Initiatives in shops and hangars; maintain advanced knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance manuals; second-shift role with up to 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required
- 8 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical) including 2 years of relevant Gulfstream aircraft experience
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Excellent knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance procedures
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Experience leading technicians and coordinating maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of inspection and documentation requirements
- Knowledge of 6S and Lean Initiatives
- Experience with airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems
