Job Summary
Perform maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of key aircraft components to ensure proper operation. Conduct aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting duties with high accuracy, focusing on mechanical systems such as airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems. Ensure compliance with FAA inspection and documentation requirements; complete work orders and sign-offs; coordinate with other departments to arrange overhaul or repair as needed. Maintain knowledge of FAA regulations and company policies; apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to keep shops and hangars clean. Requires 6 years of aviation maintenance experience and an A&P license; position is full-time with a weekend day shift in Brunswick, GA. Responsibilities also include operating and coordinating the use of ground support equipment, properly tagging customer property, and ensuring quality standards and safety in all work performed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical)
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
