Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for Gulfstream 550 based in West Palm Beach, FL. Responsible for all phases of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on company aircraft and components, including engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, and aircraft systems. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections with precision instruments, and ensure compliance with Safety Management System (SMS) and Federal Air Regulations (FARs). Travel to AOG locations for repairs and may fly test flights. Requires ability to operate tools and lift/move heavy parts, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
- Ability to run and taxi owner aircraft
- Ability to travel to locations in all weather conditions to perform repairs
- Proficiency with tools including jacks, welders, torches, paint guns, sanders, drill press
- Ability to lift and move parts up to 70 pounds, and up to 125 pounds with assistance
- Ability to learn and use technical manuals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform repairs under high-pressure situations
- Gulfstream 550 experience preferred
