Job Summary
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is responsible for the inspection, repair, modification, and routine maintenance of A320 family aircraft. This role involves ensuring airworthiness, performing maintenance tasks, complying with FAA regulations, and maintaining documentation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, engine runs, taxi operations, and supporting AOG events.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance or avionics/electrical experience
- Meets FAA experience requirements per 14 CFR 65.83
- Proven expertise in aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and repair
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Valid U.S. Passport or eligibility to obtain one
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport SIDA badge and customs clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a 40-hour A320 Familiarization Course
- Previous experience in AOG response and operational control
- Sheet metal and avionics troubleshooting skills
