Job Summary

Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems for Falcon Jet corporate aircraft within a state-of-the-art MRO facility at Melbourne Orlando International Airport. Perform tasks including servicing, lubrication, repair, modifications, fueling, and de-fueling while adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and Quality Control procedures. Complete maintenance paperwork, support shift turnover with the Aircraft Crew Chief, and collaborate with the Customer Project Supervisor to meet on-time, on-budget objectives. Maintain 5S housekeeping practices, focus on human factors for zero defects, and ensure professional conduct with customers and co-workers. Work a weekend shift from Friday through Monday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Required Qualifications

  • A&P license
  • 3 years or more of Falcon or corporate jet and/or military aircraft airframe maintenance experience
  • FAA Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in business jet maintenance environment, preferably on Falcon aircraft
  • Valid and active driver's license
  • APU Operation qualified
  • Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts and schematics
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • No allergy to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents
  • Ability to work and bend in a confined workspace
  • Manual dexterity required for technician
  • Ability to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs
  • Knowledge and experience using computers and aircraft software
  • Successful completion of the Melbourne Airport background check process
  • Ability to work a weekend shift (Friday through Monday, 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Desired Qualifications

  • FAA Inspection Authorization
  • Successful completion of at least one (1) Falcon Initial Maintenance School
  • Engine Run & Taxi qualified on business jet aircraft, preferably on Falcon aircraft
