Job Summary
Perform maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of aircraft mechanical systems to ensure proper operation. Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components of aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems. Coordinate with inspection to ensure FAA compliance and documentation; complete work orders and paperwork accurately; ensure work meets quality standards. Identify and secure customer property and equipment; follow 6S and Lean initiatives to keep shops and hangars clean; coordinate with other departments for overhaul or repair; maintain knowledge of FAA regulations and relevant manuals and service bulletins. Requires Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures and ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical)
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
