Job Summary
Join Republic Airways as an Aircraft Maintenance Military Transition Apprentice at PIT Pittsburgh Airport. This full-time position requires a high school diploma and 30 months of experience in aircraft maintenance. Candidates must have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work effectively in a team. Responsibilities include assisting licensed A&P Mechanics in preventive maintenance and repairs of aircraft.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 30 months of concurrent experience for both Airframe and Powerplant ratings
- Able to use and navigate within Microsoft Office
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Must successfully pass background check and drug test
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
- Must have access to Form DD-214
- Must have access to On-the-Job Training (OJT) paperwork
- Must know your MOS/NEC/AFSC code
Desired Qualifications
- Previous mechanical experience working in a shop environment
