Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Crew Chief (Permanent)

Job Summary
Supervise and manage a crew of AME's and apprentices while creating task cards, work orders, and ordering parts in WinAir. Maintain, adjust, modify, test, diagnose, and repair aircraft mechanical or structural systems using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment. Conduct scheduled maintenance, cleaning duties, and accurately record all repair activities while adhering to Transport Canada guidelines, safety procedures, and company policies. Utilize the reporting system to document hazards and enter labor tracking data. Perform work alone or as part of a team, including tasks at height and in confined spaces, with the ability to work extended shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license
- Have experience working on a rotary-wing asset, ideally on Leonardo Helicopters AW-Family aircraft, in particular, the AW169
- Have demonstrated experience working on WinAir or other similar maintenance programs
- Have good organizational skills
- Have experience leading a Crew
- Is proficient in English, written and spoken
- Have the physical ability to sit or crouch for extended periods
- Have the physical ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods
- Have physical dexterity to allow working in confined spaces
- The ability and willingness to undertake shift work
- Is comfortable working at height
- You are eligible for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Have the right to work in Canada and/or have or can obtain a Canadian passport
- Hold a valid driver's license
