Job Summary

Carry out maintenance on Conair production aircraft and projects as assigned, ensuring compliance with company policies, Transport Canada requirements, and CAR regulations. Perform heavy maintenance, troubleshooting, and major component replacements while maintaining currency on applicable bulletins and notices. Complete assigned tasks and related paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, operating independently with good judgment under varying supervision. Work within a team environment to assist and direct fellow employees professionally, prioritizing personal and co-worker safety. Perform physically demanding tasks in repair and overhaul while clearly expressing information verbally and in writing.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of government laws, safety rules, regulations, and safe practices
  • Knowledge of aircraft parts and theory of aircraft structures
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and respond to verbal instructions
  • Ability to work effectively with mechanical tools and equipment
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in the repair, overhaul and maintenance of aircraft
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to act with professionalism
  • Ability to clearly and effectively express information and ideas both verbally and in writing
  • Holder of Transport Canada Licenses M1 or M2
  • Successful completion of an AME category M training course from a Transport Canada Approved Training Organization
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship or permanent residency)

  • Q400 type training and experience
