Job Summary
Conduct CNC machine operations for trim and drill tasks, including water-jet machining, ultrasonic core carving, and composite machining. Fabricate, modify, and repair metallic or composite production parts and assemblies using manual or CNC mills, lathes, jig bores, and grinders. Identify nonconforming parts, report issues to supervision, and work with engineering to improve manufacturing processes. Set up precision equipment and determine proper tool sequences for machining prototype detail parts while ensuring all work complies with engineering specifications and safety procedures. Maintain job status reports and adhere to strict Foreign Object Debris protocols. Requires ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and experience with CNC operations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
- Must have High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Must have experience with CNC machine operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be available to work any shift
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Must have U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Experience with setup and operation of CNC machine operations (Trim and Drill)
- Experience with setup and operation of Water-jet machining operations (Trim)
- Experience with setup and operation of Ultrasonic core carving and composite machining
