Job Summary
Aircraft Integration Engineer to support JetZero’s build and integration at Mojave Air and Space Port. You’ll integrate systems and subsystems into the Demonstrator airframe, develop work instructions, and provide on-site technical direction for in-process build and integration efforts. You will coordinate tasking with Scaled Composites, manage materials procurement and logistics, and prepare weekly status reports. Requires 5 years of aerospace manufacturing or R&D experience, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and proficiency with Siemens NX/Teamcenter; knowledge of composite aircraft manufacturing is desirable; strong writing and communication skills are essential; role involves on-site collaboration with JetZero and Scaled teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing and/or R&D
- Experience with Siemens NX/Teamcenter
- Experience with composite aircraft manufacturing (desired)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience with safety and quality management
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving development program with evolving processes and procedures
- Experience with prototyping and/or experimental testing (desired)
- Experience working “hands on” (desired)
