Job Summary
Aircraft Inspector role responsible for inspecting and determining airworthiness of aircraft, systems, equipment and parts in accordance with FAA regulations and specifications. Performs preflight/postflight inspections, prepares inspection documentation, reports on maintenance services and supplier performance, conducts stock and shipping inspections, and conducts various audits and self-audits to ensure compliance with FAA requirements and internal procedures. Requires strong understanding of precision measurement instruments, experience with aerospace quality systems, and ability to work with management and customers; position emphasizes inspection accuracy, regulatory compliance, and documentation control. Education: High School/GED; desirable A.S. in Aviation and A&P license; 5-7 years relevant experience preferred. Working conditions include potential overtime, respirator use, and physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
