Job Summary
Perform fueling and defueling of aircraft at Ontario International Airport by operating fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts. Execute accurate accounting for fuel transactions and ensure proper loading and balancing while conducting daily quality control checks on equipment. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health, safety, and security policies, including substance misuse testing and background checks. Handle fueling carts and hoses requiring lifting up to 70lbs, working primarily outdoors in all weather conditions. Variable shifts including weekends and holidays are required; a valid driver's license and basic math skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must pass pie-employment medical and Drug testing
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Must pass driver's test with the Department of Airports and obtain a driver's license to drive on Airport Operational Area (AOA)
- Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal
- Must be at least 18 years of age
