Job Summary
Conduct aircraft fueling and defueling operations using fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts while ensuring accurate transaction accounting and correct loading balancing. Perform daily quality control checks on equipment to maintain clean, functional conditions and read aircraft weight and balance instructions. Drive and operate vehicles within the airport operational area, handling hoses and carts requiring lifting up to 70 lbs. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health, safety, and security policies, including substance misuse protocols. Work outdoors in all weather conditions on a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays. Must hold a California Class A Driver License with Haz-MAT endorsement and pass required medical, drug, and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a California Class A Driver License with Haz-MAT Endorsement
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must pass driver's test with the Department of Airports and obtain a driver's license to drive on Airport Operational Area (AOA)
- Must possess and maintain a California Class A Driver License with Haz-MAT endorsement
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English and perform basic math calculations
- Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs
- Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Must pass pre-employment Medical Test and Drug screen
- Most pass background check and obtain US Customs seal
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver's License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
