Job Summary
Aircraft Fueler role handling fueling and de-icing of various aircraft, directing ramp/vehicular traffic, fueling trucks operation and servicing, ground support, aircraft services, and related maintenance. Duties include aircraft and ground support vehicle fueling, de-icing, safety inspections, groundskeeping, weather-related operations, and ensuring compliance with FAA and Avflight safety policies. Requirements include 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, 2 years related aviation experience preferred, background check and pre-employment drug test, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 70 lbs, and willingness to work varied hours outdoors in airport environments. Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to follow procedures are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years related experience; aviation experience a plus
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug test
- Valid Driver's license with good driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to write clearly and legibly
- Ability to push/pull/lift 70 lbs for extended periods
- Ability to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels in airport environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- FAA, Federal, State and Local safety policy compliance
