Job Summary
Perform fueling and de-icing of all aircraft types while directing ramp and vehicular traffic movement. Operate and service fuel trucks, ground support vehicles, and perform minor maintenance on this equipment. Execute daily fuel farm inspections including preloading and quality control checks, alongside monthly safety inspections for all vehicles. Provide lavatory service, luggage handling, and courtesy car transportation to customers and crews. Maintain grounds keeping, janitorial maintenance, and snow removal operations as required. Ensure full compliance with FAA, Federal, State, Local, and Avflight safety policies. Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and good driving record. Requires ability to lift 70-80 lbs. and work varied hours including swing, graveyard, weekends, and holidays. Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions and elevated noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years related experience
- Aviation experience a plus
- Must pass background check
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Must have valid Driver's license
- Must have a good driving record within company standards
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate basic computer skills with the ability to easily grasp the functionality and concepts of company software for paperwork and computer transactions
- Ability to write clearly and legibly
- Ability to push/pull/lift 70 lbs. for extended periods of time
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Must be available and willing to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment
- Be pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude
- Be reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfill obligations
- Strong Attention to Detail and multi-tasking skills
