Job Summary
Install, inspect, repair, operate, troubleshoot, overhaul, and modify aircraft environmental systems including oxygen, heating, air conditioning, cabin pressurization, and fire extinguisher components. Perform intermediate maintenance on cryogenic storage containers and conduct acceptance inspections on newly assigned aircraft. Advise on technical problems regarding repair, overhaul, and modification of these systems. Document all maintenance actions per established procedures and perform on-the-job training for assigned trainees. Order and receive necessary parts. Requires five years of experience in RSAF AFSC 242X2 with mandatory F-15 qualification.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of five (5) years' experience in RSAF AFSC 242X2
- two (2) years at the seven (7) level
- Qualification as an F-15 Aircraft Electrical and Environmental System Mechanic
- experience in performing or supervising functions such as the installation, repair, or modification of aircraft electrical and environmental systems
