Job Summary
Aircraft Electronics Technician responsible for avionics upgrades, installations, and modifications on multiple airframes, including STC installation and repair of avionics components. Must understand aircraft avionics and electrical systems, apply engineering methodology for systems installations, and ensure accurate documentation and adherence to procedures. Preferred experience with Garmin systems and autopilot installation/troubleshooting; ability to configure avionics systems and perform system installations and modifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training
- 3 years previous experience required
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license preferred but not required
- Ability to understand and interpret aircraft Technical Data to properly architect and install avionics systems upgrades and modifications
