Job Summary
Aircraft Component Technician responsible for cleaning parts, inspecting and testing components with calibrated tools (calipers, micrometers, spring testers), disassembling/reassembling hydraulic, brake, and wheel components, performing minor repairs to heat shields, pistons, and threads, applying protective coatings, maintaining safe/clean work area, entering reports into computer, and continuing technical knowledge through workshops. This role operates in a fast-paced, physically demanding shop environment in Omaha, NE, with standard hours from 7:00am to 4:00pm and optional flexible hours. Candidates should be capable of lifting 50 lbs regularly and contributing to team efforts in accordance with maintenance manuals and organizational standards.
