Job Summary
Clean all applicable parts using a solvent and media blast process, then inspect and test components with calibrated tools like calipers and micrometers. Disassemble and reassemble hydraulic, brake, and wheel parts while performing minor repairs to heat shields, pistons, and threads. Apply protective coatings via dry and chemical lubrication methods, completing reports by entering required information into a computer. Maintain a safe, clean work environment and attend educational workshops to review technical publications. Shop hours run 7:00am to 4:00pm with flexible options available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- ability to read, write, and speak the English language per FAA Part 145 Regulations
- Mechanical aptitude
- strong sense of attention to detail
- pass a five panel pre-employment drug screen and alcohol breath test
- submit to a background check and pre-employment assessments
- ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
