Job Summary
In this role, the Aircraft Component Repair Tech II is responsible for repairing and overhauling aircraft assemblies and components, primarily in the Landing Gear shop. The position requires the ability to apply skills in mechanical and electrical assemblies, perform repairs using precision measuring tools, and follow documented procedures and manuals. Ideal candidates will have prior experience with landing gear and hydraulic systems, along with the ability to operate test equipment confidently. This is a weekend shift role with a requirement for flexibility in shift assignments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering documents
- Proficient operation of tools/equipment including glass bead and carboblast machines
- Basic understanding of shop math
- 2 years experience in sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, electrical/electronic harness buildup, electrical systems troubleshooting, battery servicing, APU removal, installation, and servicing
