Job Summary
The Aircraft Cleaner is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe aircraft interior, which includes cleaning and sanitizing aircraft cabins, organizing galleys, and vacuuming floors. The role requires effective communication with team members and adherence to tight deadlines. Successful candidates must be 18 or older, eligible to work in the U.S., flexible with work hours including nights and weekends, and able to pass background checks and drug screenings. Physical requirements include the ability to lift heavy weights and performing tasks in confined spaces.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
- Must be able to perform physical activities in indoor/outdoor environments
- Must be able to work at elevated heights
- Must be able to hear and respond to audible alarms
