Job Summary
Perform shop/line maintenance and repair of aircraft avionics components per technical data and regulatory requirements; read schematics and drawings; use calibrated test equipment; perform teardown, inspection, parts requisition, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of avionics; maintain documentation; collaborate with managers, engineers, and QA; ensure safety and quality; ability to lift 100 lbs; experience with ADF, VHF, HF, VOR/ILS, Radar, DME, Transponders, Instrument amplifiers; knowledge of test equipment; FCC certification; A&P license preferred; Associate degree in Electronics; 2-10 years aviation avionics experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- FCC certification
- 2-10 years of combined bench or line experience working on Avionics components
- A&P License (Preferred)
- Associate degree in Electronics
- 2 Years aviation Avionics experience
