Job Summary
Aircraft Avionics Technician role performing shop and/or line maintenance on avionics components, reading schematics and drawings, using calibrated test equipment, performing inspections, repairs and overhaul, providing timely quotes, maintaining calibrated tools and ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures. Requires FCC certification, an A&P license (preferred), an associate degree in electronics, high school diploma or GED, 2-10 years of avionics experience, and ability to work in a shop environment in Millington, TN. Must be authorized to work in the USA and able to lift up to 100 lbs, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- FCC certification
- A&P License (Preferred)
- Associate degree in Electronics
- 2-10 years of combined bench or line experience working on Avionics components
- Knowledge of and ability to operate test equipment (Scopes, analyzers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings
- Authorized to work in the USA
- 2 Years aviation Avionics experience
- Associate degree
