Job Summary
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft avionics systems and components; troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and replace aircraft communication, navigational and electrical equipment; complete functional testing and inspections of the avionics on Piedmont Airlines’ fleet; requires an Associates degree in electronics/avionics or at least two years of related experience; preferred FCC Restricted Radio-Telephone Operator Certificate and A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) certification; available to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays; physical ability to lift up to 100+ pounds with assistance; valid driver’s license and background/drug screening; starting rate $30.13/hour; includes benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree specializing in electronics and avionics systems or a minimum of two years of experience working with aircraft electronics and avionics systems
- Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
- 10-year Criminal History Records Check
- drug screen as required
- Proof of high school or GED completion
- Minimum 18 years of age
